NPACH Relocates Washington, DC Office
04/01/2005
NPACH has moved our national headquarters in Washington, DC, and were excited to be located within the offices of Community Action Partnership. The Community Action Partnership was established in 1971 as the National Association of Community Action Agencies (NACAA) and is the national organization representing the interests of the 1,000 Community Action Agencies (CAAs) working to fight poverty at the local level.
CAP National President Derrick Span said of the move, "We are delighted to share our office space with NPACH. It's always great when two like-minded organizations such as the Partnership and NPACH establish and maintain a relationship, but it's even greater when they both exist under the same roof. This arrangement will allow us to collaborate on more projects and generate a constant stream of ideas and discussions about anti-poverty solutions."
Added NPACH Executive Director Dr. Brad Paul, Much of the great work being done by community action agencies across America performs the role of homelessness prevention. Sharing ideas with the Community Action Partnership on the best ways to implement anti-poverty policies is a tremendous opportunity for NPACH.
