NPACH Supports National Affordable Housing Trust Fund Legislation
Today, NPACH sent a letter to Congressman Barney Frank and Congresswoman Maxine Waters, in support of their introduction of the National Affordable Housing Trust Fund Act of 2007. NPACH is pleased to support this bill, which recognizes that the United States can make meaningful progress towards the goal of ending homelessness only by dramatically increasing the supply of affordable housing units.
NPACH also commends other bipartisan co-sponsors of the legislation, including Representatives Charles Dent (R-PA), Philip English (R-PA), Al Green (D-TX), Barbara Lee (D-CA), John McHugh (R-NY), Christopher Murphy (D-CT), Jim Ramstad (R-MN), Rick Renzi (R-AZ), Christopher Shays (R-CT), and Nydia Velasquez (D-NY).
